The stories
Two complete epics, told in 37 short chapters
Both stories, whole and in order, without the parts that frighten a child. Every chapter is a short read at bedtime — one sitting, one idea, one lesson to talk about afterwards.
The practice
A Quiz Time page after every single chapter — 37 of them
Reading it once is not the same as remembering it. Each chapter closes with written exercises that make a child go back and think — and an answer key at the back of both books so parents never have to guess.
- Tick the correct answer, true or false, one-word answers
- Fill in the blanks and Match the Following
- "Who Am I?" — recall a character from their own words
- Draw & Label, for the children who are still learning to write
- Think & Write — three lines in their own words
The reason
One shows what right looks like. The other shows what every choice costs.
The Ramayan is a story about choosing what is right over what is easy. The Mahabharat is a story about choices, and their consequences. Read together, a nine-year-old can see the pattern for themselves.
- Truth and good character, even when it is hard
- Loyalty and duty — the way Lakshmana stood by his brother
- Devotion and humility — the way Hanuman served without expecting anything back
- Every action has a consequence — pride, anger and greed included
- That true strength comes from wisdom, not force
Every chapter has a video to go with it
37 chapters, 37 videos. Point a phone at the QR on any chapter page and the story plays — in Hindi or English. No app, no login, no account. Free for life with the books.

Questions parents ask
What age is this bundle for?
Ages 4 to 12. Children of 4 to 7 enjoy both books read aloud, with the illustrations and the QR videos carrying the story. Readers of 8 and above manage them on their own and can complete the Quiz Time pages without help.
Which book should we read first?
We suggest starting with the Ramayan — it is the gentler story, with clear heroes and a happy return home. The Mahabharat comes next, when a child is ready for a story about harder choices and their consequences.
Will the battles frighten my child?
No. Rama's battle with Ravana and the war at Kurukshetra are both told through courage and choices, not violence. Difficult moments — Sita's exile, Draupadi's humiliation, the fall of Karna — are handled with care and kept emotionally safe, while staying true to the original narrative.
Which language are the books in?
The book text is in simple English, written in short sentences for young readers. The QR code videos are available in both Hindi and English, so a child can follow the story in whichever language is comfortable at home.
Do I need the QR videos to use the books?
Not at all. Both books are complete on their own. The videos are a free companion — no app to install, no account to create. Any phone camera will open them.
What is inside — how many chapters and pages?
Two books, 37 chapters, 200+ full-colour pages. The Ramayan covers Rama's complete journey in 18 chapters; the Mahabharata covers the full epic in 19 chapters. Every chapter has its own QR video and Quiz Time page, with a full answer key at the back of each book.
